We here at BlogTalkRadio are very proud to announce that we have broken all previous records and have a record number of 152 shows scheduled for today!

When I got the call from Alan Levy CEO of BlogTalkRadio this morning we were at 149 I had a feeling we would break the 150 mark by the time the day was through.

We would like to thank all of the hosts who participate in using the platform and our team who works tirelessly to keep BlogTalkRadio running day in and day out.

SWVS lead singer Coko live on BlogTalkradio

May 31, 2007

Now I don’t know about all you BlogTalkRadio listeners out there, but one of my favorite R&B ballads from the 90s is definitely “Weak in the knee’s” by SWV. For that reason and more, we are so excited to welcome SWV’s lead singer Cheryl “Coko” Gamble-Clemons to Victory Waters SPEAKS! on BlogTalkRadio.

For those of you unfamiliar with this incredibly popular trio of gals (SWV stands for Sisters With Voices), they dominated their genre of music as well as the Billboard charts throughout the 1990s. They have worked alongside some of the most talented and legendary artists in today’s music industry, including Pharrell Williams, The Wu-Tang Clan, Blackstreet, Lil’ Kim, P Diddy, and Snoop Dogg.

For all you fans out there, good news! SWV has reunited and plan to have a new album out in 2007. Maybe Coko will talk about it on the show! Coko now focuses on gospel singing, and has collaborated with Faith Evans and (American Idol winner) Fantasia Barrino among others.

Be sure to tune in to Victory Waters SPEAKS! at 8:30pm EST to catch this talented songstress live on the air! Or download the archive at your leisure.

On The (Relationship) Game at 9pm EST, Will Wavvy welcomes Robert “The Love Doc” Frazier, to discuss Toxic Relationships. He promises to diagnose, treat, and put us on the road to recovery from unhealthy romantic relationships. Not to be missed!

Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Davis Ngyuen joins Plunket and co. on In Da No at 10:30pm EST. Ask the expert any burning questions you have about cosmetic treatments.

Finally, catch the All Star Bloggers Show with Frank Irizarry at 11pm EST, as he is joined by top Fox Sports bloggers Mean Dovine, AK47_Spiderman, and The_Dan. This show, new to BlogTalkRadio, aims to bring the best sports bloggers live, uncut, and uncensored to the world of internet radio.

Mark Frauenfelder on Blogtalkradio

May 28, 2007

In October of last year, I was fortunate to have Arianna Huffington as a guest on Blogtalkradio.

Towards the end of the show, Mark Frauenfelder the co-founder of BoingBoing called into the live show. As the three of us chatted about such things as how to maintain enough energy during the day or ways to scale a business, I couldn’t help but think how cool it was to have two of the most prolific bloggers conversing live, streamed everywhere and on the Blogtalkradio network.

blog radioMark and I exchanged a few email’s since that time and last week, Mark sent me a note mentioning that he has finished his new book called “Rule the Web:How to anything and everything on the internet - better, faster, easier”. .

Mark will be joining me as my guest tonight at 9:00PM EST to discuss his new book, his storied background and of course the tremendous success of BoingBoing. Here is the link for the live stream as well as the archived podcast.

As with all Blogtalkradio broadcasts, we will take calls from listeners. If you would like to participate by calling into the show, dial 347-677-0649 during the live broadcast. If you can’t make the live show, than do take a listen to the archive.

The top blogger appearing on the top blogging radio network…..makes complete sense to me.
