System Showdown Asks: Will It Blend?

September 25, 2007

Ever wonder how businesses use social media channels? The Mac vs PC guys of System Showdown have a special guest tonight that will answer this very question.

wiblogoRay Hansen, producer of the popular YouTube channel Blendtec, will join System Showdown tonight at 8pm ET. He will be talking about the company, the production of the videos, the blenders, how the show as gotten so famous, and much more. Haven’t seen any of the Blendtec shows? Trust me, it’s worth a few minutes of your time. My favorites are the iPhone and glow stick episodes.

Blendtec makes commercial and home blenders. But they also make engaging viral videos that reach an entirely new demographic. It’s almost like they blend the concepts. Ha ha ha. In addition, they provide demonstrations of fun blender recipes. I remember I won a blender at an office party once when I was younger. I had no idea what to do with it so I gave it away. Had I only known.

Join Jon and Kwass live tonight for this as well as returning segments such as The Digg Effect, Techno Throwdowns, and Internet Inside.
