Hey, our team just returned from the Blogworld Expo in Las Vegas and while there I spoke with people from all walks of life; a dogtrainer, pilot, musician, politician, investor, and professor. But a common theme was the underlying use of a blog. We could argue that the blog is mainstream now, and I had a great time turning people on to the great relationship between BlogTalkRadio and the blog. Bringing an interactive audio feature really livens things up. Your message is amplified, literally. Social networks like MySpace, Facebook and others supercharge this capability. And it’s only going to get better.
Matt Mullenweg is joining BlogTalkRadio’s CEO Alan Levy tomorrow morning at 8 am PT. It’s an opportunity to ask the founding developer of WordPress questions you have about blogging. You can call-in or type a message to to the guest or host during the show. The call-in number or The Alan Levy Show is +1 (347) 677-0649.
There are dozens of groups about BlogTalkRadio shows on Facebook, by the way. BlogTalkRadio recently launched a few groups of it’s own to highlight specific types of shows. Join them for news about these topics.

From Philadelphia Jesse Schurr from the Jesse Schurr Band visits the Cool Vibes Acoustic Diner studio on BlogTalkRadio.
Today at 1pm ET, Jesse Schurr - and possibly her bassist, will join host Dylan Michaels LIVE in the Cool Vibes Acoustic Diner. She’ll be playing some great music live for you and chatting with Dylan.
The Diner serves up tasty acoustic treats from the past 50 years. This program is full of obscure treats that even you, the self-proclaimed acoustic lover - probably didn’t know about. All that wrapped up in a musically delicious two-hour feast. That meal is served with a side of “Roll You Own”, where he pours a cup or two of hot tracks from the Dead, Phish, Floyd, Dave Matthews, Blues Traveler and others.

The Digital Podium is, indeed, alive and well here on BlogTalkRadio. Today’s “authorian” guest list is a testament to it.
As a follow-up to yesterday’s post about the Digital Podium, today we feature three authors on the network. Experts in their field and eager to share their stories and knowledge, we welcome them to BlogTalkRadio on behalf of their gracious hosts.
First up, at 12:00pm ET today the infertility and adoption show Creating a Family host Dawn Davenport welcomes Deborah Gray, a clinical social worker specializing in attachment issues and author of the book “Attaching in Adoption.” Issues ranging from what to expect when you are first home, what is normal, what is worrisome behavior, what parents can do to help with attachment, and how to tell if your child is at risk.
Tonight at 8pm ET the KarmaCaffe Spiritual Hour welcomes author of “Guided Meditation: With Steven S. Sadleir,” “The Calling: A Journey Within Your Own Being” and the “Meditation Tool Kit Course” CD set, Steven Sadleir. Steven is the Director and co-founder of the Self Awareness Institute. Mr. Sadleir is a scholar and lecturer of philosophy.
And then at 9pm ET, Motherhood Uncensored’s host Kristen Chase welcomes the authors of “The Daring Book for Girls” as it rolls hot off the presses. Authors Andi Buchanan and Miriam Peskowitz will join Kristen and bloggers Punditmom and Bitsy Parker about this popular title, described as “the manual for everything that girls need to know—and that doesn’t mean sewing buttonholes! Whether it’s female heroes in history, secret note-passing skills, science projects, friendship bracelets, double dutch, cats cradle, the perfect cartwheel or the eternal mystery of what boys are thinking…”
