BlogTalkRadio welcomes Leilani Munter, writer, environmental activist, race car driver and stunt double.
Leilani Munter joins the Rev and Chuck Show tonight at 11pm ET. Leilani became the fourth woman in history to compete in the Indy Pro Series, the developmental league of IndyCar. Leilani did stunts in Scorpion King & worked on Traffic, Ocean’s Eleven & Almost Famous. She also once worked as a photo double/stunt driver for actress Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Her other racing highlights include being 5th quick in her very first laps at Chicagoland Speedway in a practice session for the Indy Pro Series Chicagoland 100 on Sept 8, 2007. In her first Indy Pro Series race, Leilani turned the 5th quickest lap of the race with a speed of 192.399 mph at Kentucky Speedway on Aug 11,2007.
She’s also a vocal environmental activist and biologist.

This week on BlogTalkRadio has been full of funny. Today is no exception as we welcome comedian Dwayne Perkins onto the network.
Dwayne Perkins joins Olivia’s Come As You Are Party tonight at 9pm ET.
You’ve seen him very recently on Conan O’Brien and more. He’ll be live at the top of the show and he WILL be taking your calls.

Yesterday we hit another milestone, fifty thousand shows (50,000!) broadcast from BlogTalkRadio since our August 2006 launch.
The 50,000th completed show was “Warrior Radio Episode 11” from Curtis High School Podcast. The show is hosted by Curtis High School teachers Mr. Joe Sicilian and Mr. Sean Cogan, produced by Mike Davis. It provides updates and information for students, parents and alumni. Curtis High School is located in Staten Island, New York.
We called Mr. Joe Sicilian to congratulate him and let him know that we were sending him some T-shirts from the BlogTalkRadio Store. Here’s what he said:
“We love you guys. BlogTalkRadio is a living tool. You can make something flat, like a website, come to life with this thing. It really generates excitement and makes whatever you’re doing personal.”
“It’s not so much our kids, it’s our alumni. I get calls all the time from former students saying how great it is to be able to still hear my voice. And none of this would be possible without BlogTalkRadio. You come over anytime and we’ll give you the best four-dollar lunch you ever had. Anytime.”
Commenting on this milestone, Alan Levy, BlogTalkRadio CEO, host and co-founder said:
“It’s hard to believe that BlogTalkRadio, a platform which originated from a single blog when my dad was ill with Lymphoma has broadcast and archived 50,000 episodes. Truly incredible! I want to thank everyone associated with BlogTalkRadio including our staff, our thousands of active hosts and our millions of listeners.”
It took BlogTalkRadio hosts 18 months to reach 50,000 shows. By comparison, it only took 44 days to go from 40,000 shows (Dec 11, 2007) to 50,000 shows (Jan 24, 2008).

It’s another freaky Friday on BlogTalkRadio as we bring you actors, musicians, reality stars and more.
At 8pm ET tonight, Dangerous Lee talks to folk singer Daniel Moore, B Movie actress Lilith Stabs, Flint’s King of Pop, Tunde, and Jesse Lewis from VH1’s America’s Most Smartest Model and Meet The Spartans.

This has been one funny week on BlogTalkRadio. Today, comedian Jim Florentine stops by for an exclusive interview and will take your calls - if you dare.
World Talk LIVE brings you the man best known for his characters “Special Ed” and “Bobby Fletcher” from Comedy Central’s show Crank Yankers. Today at 4pm ET, Jim will join Brett for a chat and to take your calls, although who knows what he’ll do to you. 
He is also a frequent guest on The Howard Stern Show and a co-host of Miserable Men on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Howard 101 with the Reverend Bob Levy and Shuli.
His new project “Meet the Creeps” is a series of hidden-camera comedy DVDs that puts unsuspecting people in the cross hairs of comics like Jim.
