I just read your book it was an awesome story. I wanted to know what happened to the man that saved you. It is a sad story. Lost his position in the village and lives in another town. He was arrested by US Forces accusing of him of being with the Taliban. What a shame. Have you been in contact with him,

Dear Marcus
I just read your book and it was very moving for me. I am only 15 but this book was the story i ever read. It had a little bit of everything in it, sadness, courage and love. But most of all it had truth to it. This really happened and I can honestly say that it was the most courageous and moving stories i have ever read. I don’t know you but i would love to hear back from you. I have no doubt in my mind that you are my hero. Good luck with medical school.

Hello,
I stand in awe of what you went through. I read your book. One of my best friends who is a pastor. His name is Chad DuVall at Ada’s Bells Chapels Assembly of God church in Atkins Arkansas gave me the book to read. I will never appreciate what you went through physically or mentally, I just want to say that as a 41 year old science teacher at Atkins High School, I can not express the words of gratitude or express words of agreement over the current media. Where do they come from?
You and your team are forever etched into my mind as heroes. I wish that I could say more. I just hope that you will someday read this.
I hope there is a record of this, because I believe our country is headead for indecision, and you and the Navy Seals stand for decision. I back you.
