Congratulations to BlogTalkRadio CEO Alan Levy for making the Silicon Alley Insider 100.
This annual ranking recognizes movers and shakers in the New York digital business community.
Alan is in excellent company. The prestigious SAI 100 list, which was unveiled today, sports such names as Sirius XM Satellite Radio CEO Mel Karmazin, AOL CEO Randy Falco, InterActive Corp. CEO Barry Diller, CBS-CNET Interactive President Quincy Smith, Gawker Media Founder Founder Nick Denton, and Huffington Post CEO Betsy Morgan.
Say the SAI editors:
“Alan has literally given a voice to the blogosphere via his New Jersey-based startup, which lets users broadcast their own radio shows on the Web. Last we heard from Alan, he said listeners were streaming or downloading over 3 million such podcasts per month. And in June, BlogTalk landed a nice $4.6 million Series A from Patriots owner Robert Kraft.”
Though Alan is new to the SAI 100, we bet this won’t be the last time he makes the list!

Wow! Wonderful job Alan.. I am so happy to be part of blogtalkradio with my Judy Joy Jones Show. I have been able to share scientists, authors, publishing companies, musicians, composers, etc. with millions of people around the world because of blogtalk. The opportunities we have through this medium are endless. I have always wanted to have the whole world of people as my friends; and now I do. Keep up the great work Alan Levy!
