Blurb! Book of the Week: Dr. David Robinson’s ‘Transforming Body, Mind & Spirit’

Does “living fit, trim and healthy for the rest of your like without expensive diets, weight-loss pills or programs” sound too good to be true?

Not to the thousands of Americans who have embraced the methods outlined in Dr. David Robinson’s Transforming Body, Mind & Spirit: The NonDiet Way to Live Fit, Trim, Healthy for Life.

Dr. Robinson: Are you trying to seduce us?

Nor to Blurb! hosts Sally Shields and Dr. Kent, who have selected his self-help book as this week’s Blurb! Book of the Week.

Having overcome childhood obesity in adolescence, Dr. Robinson tells us he has been “maintaining great physical condition, great health and a wellness lifestyle for more than 25 years.”

“My mission is to help people tap their true potential and experience the greatest and most rewarding journey of their life,” says the chiropractor, 49, who makes his home on the southern coast of Massachusetts.

Every Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET, Sally and Dr. Kent review not books themselves but prerecorded pitches from five writers whose literary works are hot off the presses.

And each scribe gets a mere three minutes to convince the hosts that theirs is the book worth cracking. But if they succeed, they capture the coveted Book of the Week title.Transforming Body Mind Spirit - cover

That means Sally and Dr. Kent post it on the Blurb! website – just as they did with Dr. Robinson’s book.

To top it all off, the winning author gets a guest spot on the show, during which to pitch his or her book live to listeners worldwide – just as Dr. Robinson will appear on tonight’s show.
