Survival Radio Network talks to Hall of Fame NBA player and coach Lenny Wilkens.

Wilkens talk about finding his love for basketball “handball, stickball, football, baseball… certainly baseball was the top sport at that time, because the majority of us were Jackie Robinson fans… for most of us young, aspiring athletes he was a role model.” As his friends gravitated toward basketball, he found himself drawn to the sport because “it was an aggressive game, it was physical, it was up-and-down, it was quick.”

A former player for the Seattle SuperSonics, which is now the Oklahoma City Thunde, Owens discusses the possibility of another NBA franchise in Seattle. He believes that it is a possibility, citing “great fan support.”

Owens also talks about the current teams he supports, naming the Indiana Pacers as a current favorite team and Carmelo Anthony and Michael Carter-Williams as his favorite players, saying that he roots for players who are versatile and having a preference for those from Syracuse University, his alma mater.

Much as it pains him, Fat Joe says New Yorkers won’t be getting NBA superstar LeBron James any time soon.

Interviewed on H2GRadio, the rap star—who owns a street basketball team called the Terror Squad that plays in Harlem—weighs in on the chances of the New York Knicks snagging the Cleveland Cavaliers forward when his $60 million contract expires at the end the current NBA season, making him a free agent.
