Honoring Ariel Sharon

Ariel Sharon served as Israel’s eleventh Prime Minister from 2001 to 2006. He passed away earlier in January, and Joyce BarrieFriends pays tribute to him.

The hosts talk about how Israel was under attack “from day one of its existence.” Sharon, a former Israeli army commander, “had to participate a great deal just for the survival of Israel” from the beginning.
