Awards season

Tim Gordon of FilmGordon Radio is joined by movie critics Susan Wloszcyna of RogerEbert.com and Ann Hornaday of The Washington Post to discuss their predictions for awards season.

Wloszcyna says that The Dallas Buyers Club could be a dark horse candidate for the Oscars, potentially gaining popularity throughout January and February, saying that it’s “a different picture of a time and issue that gives it a different take.” She also mentions Woody Allen’s Blue Jasmine, noting Allen as an Academy favorite. She also advises to keep an eye on French film Blue Is The Warmest Color.
