Fantasy Sports Channel Teams up with Baseball Digest and Fantasy Pros 911 for 24-Hour Cystic Fibrosis Radio-a-Thon

copy-of-cystic-fibrosis-poster1By now, it’s widely known that our Fantasy Sports Channel boasts more live fantasy-sports radio than anyone on the planet.

But what you may not know is just how seriously our hosts take that motto.

Case in point: Tomorrow, March 7, Paul Greco and Lenny Melnick will deliver 24 hours of expert fantasy- baseball programming.

And, no, we don’t mean that Paul will do a 12-hour stretch followed by Lenny doing the same – or that they’ll each trade off hour-long blocks.

We mean that they’ll both be live on the air for 24 hours straight, with fellow Fantasy Sports Channel host Tony Cincotta jumping in, too.

Not only that, but the guys will be undertaking this Herculean effort for an excellent cause: To raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Thanks to our partners in this event, BaseballDigest.com and FantasyPros911.com, we’ll be bringing you interviews with Baseball Hall of Famers Ernie Harwell, Duke Snider and Monte Irvin, as well as with a host of active and retired MLBers, including Jack Voight, Mike Easler, Rob Deer, Nick Markakis, Adam Jones, Chris Ray and Jay Bruce.

fsc-graphic-10-08Plus, we’ve got some of the best sports- writers and broad- casters in the biz, including Newsday’s Adam Ronis, XM Radio’s Casey Stern, KTKR-AM/Ticket 760 Radio’s Peter Burns, MLB.com’s Bryan Hoch and NYSportsDay.com’s Joe McDonald.

Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease that affects 30,000 adults and children in the U.S., and 70,000 people worldwide. It causes life- threatening lung infections and serious digestive complications. More than 10 million Americans are symptomless carriers of a CF gene.
