How can I delete recordings from my personal feed so that they cannot be accessed by other users? Thanks for your reply.

Very cool, two questions;

1. Are there phone charges?

2. Doesn't the audio quality sound like, well, a phone call?

How long does it takes to update the feed for the first recording? I thought I could talk and simply hanged up, but it takes a while before getting my first MP3...

Hey Jeff, That feature will be coming in the next few days as we implement the ability to create a username and pin number to address the concerns from people around the web. However, the core functionality will remain unchanged and users will not be required to register and create a username or pin to use the service.

On the API side of the house, you can see something I was able to create in about 30 minutes from my Cinch feed - http://croncast.com/cinchpub.rss . It's a new feed without my phone number in it anywhere. I was also able to create a quick script that adds the Cinch messages as posts in my blog.

Neither of my scripts are groundbreaking, but they are uses of the feed as a simple API. We think that there are many applications that can use Cinch as a backbone. And when they start arriving we'll make sure to share them.
