Be good for goodness sake!
That’s the message Joe Crawford, the host of BlogTalkRadio’s The Joe Show, is busy delivering, now that the holiday season is in full swing. And the Canadian media is taking note.
In a story headlined “Tuning in to Crawford’s 12 Days of Christmas,” the Welland Tribune (which cover’s his hometown of Port Colborne, Ontario), today reports:
“Comedian Joe Crawford has a pile of gifts to hand out in the 12 days leading up to Christmas. And he’s inviting people from the community to listen to his Internet-based radio show for a chance to be included on his ‘nice’ list.”
The paper goes on to note that, from Dec. 12 to 23, Joe “will hand out prizes donated by local businesses” and “he has about $3,000 worth of prizes to give away, including such items as gift certificates for golf courses, spas and restaurants.”
Meanwhile, Joe is looking to have his own X-mas wish fulfilled. That by replacing Regis Philbin for a day on Live! With Regis and Kelly.
Joe is hoping to become an official nominee in the ABC morning show’s “Men of Radio Co-host Search” contest, which will pair up a male radio personality with Kelly Ripa as the show’s co-host for one day in January 2011.
But to get into the official running, he needs your vote.
