Fans of ’60s TV know him as Opie Taylor.
Fans of ’70s TV know him as Richie Cunningham.
Fans of ‘80s, ‘90s and ‘00s feature films know him as the creative force behind such hits as Splash, Apollo 13 and A Beautiful Mind.
Now BlogTalkRadio fans know Ron Howard as a Rich Little wannabe!

Ron: I am not a politician!
In a Wilshire & Washington interview about his latest directorial effort, Frost/Nixon, which tells the story of British talk-show host David Frost’s 1977 interview series with Richard Nixon – for which the then-resigned president was paid big bucks – Ron launches into a dead-on impression of Tricky Dick.
“Everybody that you interview who knew Nixon – no matter how much they loved him – they can’t help but do ‘Richard Nixon’ at some point,” Ron tells W&W host Ted Johnson.
“You know, he said to me, ‘Please don’t come up behind me like that!’ And they have to do that and it’s so funny, which is why I really wanted Oliver Platt [in his role as Bob Zelnick, executive producer of the Nixon-Frost interviews] to go full-out in his scene,” says Ron.

Hardly a week goes by when BlogTalkRadio’s own Bob Andelman isn’t recognized for his terrific on-air work.
This week, the Mr. Media host has his name splashed in the pages of the Maddux Business Report, a (what else?) business magazine in his home state of Florida.
“Andelman’s interview subjects are a diverse bunch, from actors Billy Bob Thornton and Kirk Douglas to the editor of Smithsonian magazine,” writes the pub.
To hear those and other newsmaker interviews, click here.
And to read the full story, don’t click anywhere – just read on…

Tiffany: Nevada native? (Yep.)
Welcome to another edition of SoundBits, the weekly series in which we intro- duce you to BlogTalkRadio talent – and show you a side of them you may not know. Today we profile Tiffany Janay, host of Hip-Hop Entrepreneur, who hails from the Los Angeles area.
Give us a 15-second pitch for your BlogTalkRadio show – why should listeners tune in?
Each week, we feature successful hip-hop-culture entrepreneurs who mentor by sharing stories of how they obtained their success. We also educate, inspire and motivate all the hustlers on the grind who are serious about creating a positive reality for their lives. Tune into the show so you can be up on what hip-hop movers and shakers are doing to secure their positions as legends with the culture.
Tell us two things listeners would be surprised to learn about you?
First, I’m a vegan. Second, I grew up in Reno, Nevada!
Who’s your broadcasting hero?
Oprah, of course – because of all the obstacles she has been able to overcome and the success she has obtained in the process. Other than her, people who naturally have a passion for being nosey and are good at getting unique information out of their interviewees – all while making them feel 100-percent comfortable.
If you could book any person on earth as a guest on your show, who would it be and why?
Jay-Z! He’s the big brother of hip-hop and for my generation. He’s someone who has achieved great levels of success. And he’s so finessed with it!
As we speak, what are you wearing?
Something that only my husband should know about.
What’s the strangest thing you’ve ever done while in the middle of hosting your show?
I do a million things while hosting! I’m active in the chat room, I visit other sites to promote the show, I cook dinner, organize my kids, lead the conversation, ask questions, quiet my environment, and watch the switchboard to see who is calling in!

You know one of the hosts of BlogTalkRadio’s Access New York as “Obama Girl” – the red-hot brunette who stilled the hearts (and tickled the, ah, funny bones) of countless voters during Election ‘08 with her hit YouTube video, I Got a Crush… on Obama.

Kelly (left) and Amber: Set to set BTR asizzle.
You know the other as PoweR Girl Kelly, the equally hot blonde who flashed her mettle on the MTV reality show of the same name while planning club openings, launching albums and ushering celebs to press events in her job at uber-flack Lizzie Grubman’s Manhattan PR firm.
Now Amber Lee Ettinger and Kelly Brady are teaming up for a fast-paced peek inside the world’s hottest celebrity scene.
Coming to you live from the Big Apple, these glam gals deliver weekly reviews on their favorite clubs – and the latest dish on those bold-face names they’ve been hanging with.
Their first hot-spot pick? The Eldridge in Manhattan’s ever-hip East Village.
Joining the delicious duo to punctuate their power reports will be a steady stream of celeb guests and media insiders.

Even if you’re among the three literate adults in the English-speaking world who’s never heard of David Baldacci, we bet you have seen Absolute Power.
That’s right – the 1997 flick starring Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Ed Harris, Judy Davis and Laura Linney. Well, that was based on David’s smash bestseller of the same name.

David: Had "Divine" inspiration for latest thriller.
Since then, he has penned 16 additional best- sellers, which have been translated into 37 languages and sold more than 40 million copies.
So you can imagine how thrilled we are that David will be stopping into The Alan Levy Show today to chat with Alan Levy, and special co-host Miriam Parker from Hachette Book Group.
The topic atop everyone’s list will of course be David’s
just-released book, Divine Justice, which tells the story of John Carr, alias “Oliver Stone,” who becomes the most wanted man in America after assassinating the two men who destroyed his life. On John’s tail every step of the way – from the power corridors of Washington, D.C., to the tiny coal-mining town of Divine, Va. – is master spy Macklin Hayes.
But David, who in 1997 was voted one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world by People magazine, will also discuss his role as national ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, as well as his own literacy foundation, Wish You Well.
To hear David live at 3 p.m. ET today, and on-demand immediately thereafter, click here.

And when we say “star-studded,” we don’t just mean “studded with stars.”
We also mean “celebrity-filled” and “filled with celebrities,” “A-lister-packed” and “packed with A-listers,” “bold-faced-name-brimming” and “brimming with bold-faced names,” “world-renowned-visage-loaded” and “loaded with…” – well, you get the point.

“I hope that muther#&$@!* tastes good,” David says of his three-figure holiday fowl.
And even if you don’t, you’re still required to tune into The Mix this evening, as it answers such all-important questions as:
—What Paris Hilton did recently to pre- vent the paparazzi from peering into her abode.
—Why Chocolate News host David Allen Grier (right) bought a turkey online for $129.
—Who started the rumor that Maureen McCormick and her Brady Bunch co-star, Eve Plumb, were lesbian lovers.
—Which of his Martha Stewart jokes Tommy Chong deemed too risqué even for Howard Stern’s show.
—Why 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan says comedy clubs - during hard times - are “the center of the universe.”
—What physical characteristics Grammy Award-nominated American Idol finalist Mandisa is looking for in a black man.
—How Tom Arnold paid back the man who molested him decades ago in Iowa.
So don’t miss The Mix, hosted by everyone’s favorite pod jockey, Shaun Daily, tonight – and every Monday – at 9 p.m. ET!

Sounds like the world’s most famous hotel heiress is laying out a big ole welcome mat for her ex.

“I love him very much,” Paris tells BlogTalkRadio about Benji.
Paris Hilton tells World Talk Live! host Brett Cohen that she and Benji Madden – who dumped her via voicemail two weeks ago after a nine-month fling – are still in each other’s lives big-time.
“We speak probably 10 times a day,” she says of the Good Charlotte guitarist, 29, whose bandmate – and twin bro - Joel Madden has a baby with Paris’ BFF, Nicole Richie.
“He’s my best friend. So we’ll always be close.”
If that weren’t a big enough hint, Paris, 27, goes on to say that she hasn’t got eyes for any other guys:
“I care for [Benji] and we’ll see what happens in the future. I’m not seeing anyone [else]… I’m not interested in anyone.”
Meanwhile, the budding entrepreneur – who has been busy launching her new fragrance, Fairy Dust – reveals that she has taken a hard line against the prying eyes of ever-present paparazzi.

Paris and Benji in April – back when love was in bloom.
“They follow me all day long. But I moved into a gated community now,” says Paris.
“Before, they would literally be running up my driveway and taking pictures through my windows – could see everything in my house.
“Now I live in a gated community, so they usually just fly over in helicopters!”
To hear Paris dish more about her personal life and upcoming projects, click here.
