At 3 PM The C.O.W.S. host Sister Nefertari Merimut Nzingha goes one-on-one with Princeton University historian Nell Irvin Painter, author of the new book The History of White People, which The New York Times has called “monumental in sweep.”
At 6 PM Chris and Company gets busy with former Chicago Bull and Seattle Supersonic Brad Sellers, who’ll weigh in on the NBA playoffs, as well as fill us in on the community work he’s doing in his hometown of Warrenville Heights, Ohio.
At 7 PM Get Up Show host Chris LaMonica kicks it once again with Sports Illustrated model Natalin Avci. The tantalizing mannequin, who has appeared on HBOs’ Entourage, will tell us how it feels to be named one of FHM International’s sexiest ladies.
Also at 7 PM WDKK Radio host Darryl Williams hangs with Camille Sledge and Kristen Gabrielle, daughters of Sister Sledge’s Kathy and Debbie Sledge.The cousins will fill us in on SledgeGirl, their effort promoting positive self-images among young women, which launches June 17 in Philly.
