Congratulations goes to John McCain in his win in the New Hampshire primary for Republican presidential candidate.
It’s natural to want to know a little more about Senator John McCain at this point and BlogTalkRadio has some exclusive content that may be of interest to you. When many counted McCain out, Heading Right Radio continued to bring him on for his views on the issues.
Senator McCain and his campaign made numerous appearances on BlogTalkRadio this past year. He was a three-time guest with Ed Morrissey on Heading Right Radio. Check out the archives for these dates. I’ve pulled some quotes that, looking back, seem very interesting today.
- May 29, 2007 – McCain: “We…unfortunately, pay way too much attention and I plead guilty first, pay too much attention to a lot of the polls; a lot of them are conflicting. And as you know polls are less, much less accurate than they use to be due to the advent of the cell phone”
- July 19, 2007 – McCain: “We’re gonna spend a lot of time in Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina doing what I do best, and that’s the town hall meetings, face to face, unfiltered communications with people, that’s the way I won back in 2000…I can convince people that I’m the one that’s qualified, I’m the one that’s experienced, and I’m the one that’s prepared to meet this great challenge we describe…”
- October 15, 2007 – McCain: “We just came back from New Hampshire last night…and Ed, I’ve been in this business long enough to detect enthusiasm. And the town meetings have been great…we’re in good shape and there is a lot of interesting things happening as people start to really begin to focus on this race.”
Also, Jon Seaton, State Director for John McCain’s Iowa campaign, spoke recently with Jacob Gold on Gold Meddles on December 12, 2007.
And on September 19, 2007, Andrea Shea King interviewed Robert Timburg, author of “JOHN McCAIN – An American Odyssey.”
Congratulations, Senator McCain, you’re welcome back to BlogTalkRadio to share your thoughts and politics. After all, that’s why we’re here.
