joan-armatradingAt 9 PM Icon Fetch’s Tony Peters grooves with British pop diva Joan Armatrading, who, throughout a career that spans 38 years, has only recorded her own songs—never a cover. The Grammy nominee will chat about her new CD, This Charming Life, on which she plays most every instrument.
george-chakiris1

At 8 PM Crystal Clear Speaks’ Joe Rumbolo believes there must be a guest named George Chakiris—and there is! The Oscar-winner, who played Sharks leader Bernardo in the 1961 flick West Side Story, drops in to chat about his new jewelry line, The Power of 7.

traci-brooks1

At 9 PM The Unrated Hour host Phil Peabody gets up close and personal with Canadian pro wrestler Traci Brooks, the first TNA Knockout to pose for Playboy (even if her pics were only only released via the mag’s Cyber Club). Traci will fill us in on her post-TNA career.
reality-steve-5

At 9 PM Oliva Wilder welcomes back “Reality Steve” Carbone, the blogger infamous for posting The Bachelor spoilers, who’ll chat about ABC’s new Bachelor Pad series. Plus, our host’s contest to find Steve a mate of his own—which already sports a list of 100+ hopeful gals.
joe-posa

At 1 PM Bob “Mr. Media” Andelman trades barbs with Joe Posa from Spike TV’s Scrappers. Set on the streets of Brooklyn, the new—and much buzzed-about—comic reality series takes us inside the wholly unglamorous world of scrap-metal dealers.

It’s a Have-and-Have-Not Edition of ‘The Mix’

Ernest Hemingway would no doubt be proud of this week’s nod to his 1937 novel To Have and Have Not.

Or maybe not.

The point is, by using such a cheap tactic, we’ve succeeded in grabbing your attention.

And now that we have it, here’s a sampling of what’s you’ll learn on tonight’s Have-and-Have-Not edition of The Mix:

CAPTION: "By the time I got done with her," Omarosa (above) tells us, "I had the laptops, the printers and ink for a year."

"By the time I got done with her," Omarosa (above) tells us of the uppity clerk, "I had the laptops, the printers and ink for a year."

-Why reality star Omarosa had a bitch of a time getting a clerk at an electronics store to redeem a valid coupon for 50 percent off a laptop.

-Why William Sanderson, who plays Sheriff Bud Dearborne on the hit HBO series True Blood, has an aversion to discussing the show’s stunts and special effects.

-Why Ralph Carter, who played impoverished Michael Evans on Good Times, didn’t need to get a call from TV mogul Norman Lear to know he’d landed the role on that groundbreaking ’70s sitcom.

-Why financier T. Boone Pickens - who’s worth an estimated $3 billion – wants to make July 8 an annual celebration of America’s independence from foreign oil.

-Why jazz-piano great Ellis Marsalis‘ kids - Wynton and Branford Marsalis among them – had virtually no interest in jazz as teenagers.

-Why Merlin star Anthony Head – who played Ruper Giles in the ’90s TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer – has no intention of bringing his character to the big screen unless original writer Joss Whedon is at the helm.

So don’t miss The Mix, hosted by everyone’s favorite pod jockey, Shaun Daily, tonight – and every Monday – at 9 p.m. ET!

One of our busiest programming days of the week, Wednesday is home to some great shows on the network, from entertainment to sports, and everything in between.

texaschainsawmassacre.jpgAnd this Wednesday is no exception, with these special guests and topics to enjoy:

Continuing their October horrorfest, The Movie Geeks dedicate a segment to Texas Chainsaw Massacre, that 1974 cult classic. Guests include cinematographer Daniel Pearl and documentarian David Gregory. Top that off with a visit from Lyriq Bent, star of Saw IV, which hits box offices this weekend.

Rico and Pauly from Fruit Salad welcome Andy Bauer, the creator of web comic The Gay Monsters. This Halloween-themed show gets underway at 10:30pm ET.

Bern Nadette Stanis, better known as Thelma from hit sitcom Good Times, joins In the Know with Tony Reeves. She has been busy since the 1970s TV role, and will discuss her motivational speaking and new books.

**Update** Tomorrow  The Joe Show welcomes Colin Mochrie, Canadian comic and newly throned host of Are You Smarter than a Canadian Fifth Grader? If you aren’t of the Canadian persuasion, you may remember Colin from the improv TV show Whose Line is it Anyway? He’s the funny one.
