EXCLUSIVE: Why Stephen Baldwin Quit NBC Reality Show: Jungle Insects Impregnated Me

Two days ago, news reports emerged that Stephen Baldwin had quit I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! though no details of why the actor exited the NBC reality show were available.

Last night, however, Stephen called into his BlogTalkRadio show from Costa Rica – where he’d been competing with the likes of Lou Diamond Phillips, John Salley, Sanjaya Malakar and Torrie Wilson – to tell the full story.

CAPTION: "It's the absolute creepiest thing that you can think of," Stephen (above) tells us of the treatement for his entomological ravaging.

"It's the absolute creepiest thing that you can think of," Stephen (above) tells us of his entomological ravaging.

“I suffered in the first eight days of production, while in the jungle, over 125 insect bites on my body,” he told Kevin McCullough, co-host of Baldwin/McCullough Xtreme Radio.

“And two of them – much to my surprise – became kind of lumpy initially. Within 72 hours they were these kind of half-dollar-size lumps under my skin that were probably about an inch thick. [The] reactions just weren’t the same as the other 123, so to speak.

“I did get to take some time with the medic, who explained to me that, in his opinion, he didn’t think that is was the ‘implantation of insect larvae into my flesh,’ but that – oh, gosh – that’s what it could be.

“So… they tested these things and, sure enough, Stevie B. was ‘pregnant.’

“I videotaped this process where they put this kind of thick, tough medical adhesive tape that has a chemical compound on it that suffocates the larvae while it’s beneath your flesh.

“And as it suffocates, it tries to back itself out of the hole that it’s burrowed into your skin. And when it does that, the tail section of it gets stuck to the tape.”

‘Obama’s a Wuss,’ Says Stephen Baldwin. ‘It Might Be Fun to Slap Him Around.’

Stephen Baldwin doesn’t think Barack Obama has an ounce of street cred – to say nothing of political cred.

“Barack Obama is, like, a wuss. I think the guy’s just a wuss. He doesn’t look like he ever got down in the street – ever!” the co-host of BlogTalkRadio’s Baldwin/McCullough Xtreme Radio says on this week’s show.

“It might be kind of fun to slap Barack around,” says Stephen.

“It might be kind of fun to slap Barack around,” says Stephen.

Stephen took to the airwaves to explain precisely why he’d called the Democratic presidential candidate a “cultural terrorist” – and challenged him to a boxing match – at Michael (father of Lindsay) Lohan’s charity boxing event in Long Island four days earlier.

The actor’s chief reason? That in the Illinois state Senate, Obama “opposed a bill similar to the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, which prevents the killing of infants mistakenly left alive by abortion,” according to The Washington Post.

“No other senator – Democrat or Republican – agrees with that . . . He’s the only dude that says, If somebody goes to have an abortion late in the term of a pregnancy . . . and it goes wrong and the baby comes out alive, and survives . . . you should put it somewhere and let it just starve and die,” says Stephen.

“Barack Obama saying that it’s OK for that to happen is terrorism in my opinion,” he adds.

Co-hosted by Kevin McCullough, author of MuscleHead Revolution: Overturning Liberalism with Commonsense Thinking, BMX Radio airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET.

STEPHEN BALDWIN: Here’s the deal, I just think – and this is just me talking now. We’re all entitled to our opinion. And even some of my old homey freaks might throw a tomato at me right now, but I don’t care – I personally think Barack Obama is, like, a wuss. I think the guy’s just a wuss. He doesn’t look like he ever got down in the street – ever!

KEVIN MCCULLOUGH: Is the guy from “Biodome” ever allowed to call anyone a wuss?

STEPHEN BALDWIN: I just did.  But anyway – because, obviously, what’s going down in the country – it’s surprising to me that so many young people are so down with this dude because they want change, they want change, they want change, without really knowing who this cat is.

KEVIN MCCULLOUGH: Or what kind of change he’s talking about.

STEPHEN BALDWIN: Exactly. So I’m at this thing and I turn around and I say, “Why don’t I go over to Hofstra University for the last debate and set up a boxing ring and me and Barack Obama can throw down.  Just fisticuffs.  If he’s such a stud…

KEVIN MCCULLOUGH: Someone in the back row just figured out “Biodome dude fighting Barack Obama.”  They just caught onto it.

STEPHEN BALDWIN: That would be awesome! So I figured…

KEVIN MCCULLOUGH: Would you wear head gear? Would you wear that funny thing that goes over across the top and…

STEPHEN BALDWIN: You don’t understand.  I’m so much more of a freak than you realize.  I just would be buggin’ out to be in a boxing ring with Barack Obama.  That would be so cool, you know what I mean? I’d, like, let him beat me. It would just be fun. But, anyway, I make that announcement – all these cameras are there for this other thing, for Lohan, and they all come running over to me like, “Dude, what would you do? Would you beat up Barack Obama? Would you kill him, would you kick his butt.  Like, what?” I’m half joking.  But it might be kind of fun to slap Barack around.

KEVIN MCCULLOUGH: Here’s what people don’t know about you, Stephen, that when somebody fights, on your half-joke, it becomes this whole different animal at that point.

STEPHEN BALDWIN: So then this one dude, from TMZ or something, he’s like, he takes the bait – and I’ve done this before so the guy starts like, “Whoa, what’s your problem, dude. Why don’t you like Barack Obama?” And I turn around and I said, “Listen, I don’t think it’s a big deal.  I just personally find Barack Obama to be, quote, a ‘cultural terrorist.’”  And the dude just like wigs. Like, “What? You can’t say that.”  And I’m like, “I just did, dude”…

Dictionary.com says this: “Cultural: of or pertaining to culture or cultivation.” “Terrorism: the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce for political purposes.”  Definition no. 2: “The state and fear of submission produced by terrorism or terrorization.”

Here’s my point. Here’s why, in my opinion – which I have the right to state, baby, God bless America – here’s why I think Barack Obama’s a cultural terrorist: He is the only senator to vote against the Born-Alive Act. And here’s his excuse: It shouldn’t be a law because it could endanger the health of the mother. So that’s his logic.  Now, no other senator – Democrat or Rebublican – agrees with that. They feel that you should vote against this thing.  He’s the only dude that says, If somebody goes to have an abortion late in the term of a pregnancy – it’s a baby. It’s a life, it’s a baby inside a mother’s womb – if they go to have an abortion and it goes wrong and the baby comes out alive, and survives, homey, Obama, says you should put it somewhere and let it just starve and die.  Just let it die…  Barack Obama saying that it’s OK for that to happen is terrorism in my opinion.
