It’s a Pot-Luck Edition of ‘The Mix’

‘Round and ’round the sound bites go, where they stop, nobody knows—except us.

Because we’ve just compiled 10 of last week’s best into a pot-luck edition of The Daily Mix, which we’ll be bringing you tonight at 9 pm ET. At that time, you will learn:

—Why screen siren Sela Ward tells us that the hardest thing she had to do recently was “learning how to scream.”

—Why funny lady Margaret Cho tells us, “For me, sex is a sacrament, and I try to have it many times a day as many times as possible with as many people as possible.”

—Why Desperate Housewives hunk Jesse Metcalfe tells us that screen icon Michael Douglas “pulled me aside and said, ‘You gotta relax a little bit.’”

—Why Justine Wachsbeger, who plays Gianna in next month’s Twilight sequel, New Moon, tell us that she’s “just really not attracted by” stars Rob Pattinson Continue reading

Oh, Snaps! Pauly and Rico Hob-Knob with the Stars

Pauly & Rico, the famously flamboyant hosts of BlogTalkRadio’s Fruit Salad, don’t just dish with celebs in cyberspace – they party with them in person!

Here they are (Rico left, Pauly right) last month whooping it up with the always outrageous Margaret Cho at The Improv Comedy Club in Ontario, California.

But that was just the beginning of their summer love-fest with the A-list set. Here’s a peek at some of the other bold-face names the boys rubbed, ah, elbows with.

“It’s really trippy when people that I idolize are fans of mine,” Margaret Cho tells BlogTalkRadio.

—Why Gilbert Gottfried is feeling “awkward” about his 13-month-old daughter. (Hint: The fact that she’s a “squinter” – like her daddy – is just half the problem.)

—How Kirk Cameron landed the lead in the new feature film Fireproof. (Hint: Bobby De Niro would be proud.)

—Which legendary rock star is as big a fan of funny lady Margaret Cho as she is of his.

—What Barry Bostwick – along with thousands of extras – was restricted from doing on the set of the upcoming Miley Cyrus flick.

—What Rosanna Arquette did 25 years ago that recently embarrassed the dickens out of her 13-year-old daughter Zoe.

—What Crispin Glover promises to do in your hometown if you simply email him and ask.

So don’t miss The Mix, hosted by everyone’s favorite pod jockey, Shaun Daily, every Monday at 9 p.m. ET!

Kirk Cameron

Kirk Cameron

I found another great reason to listen to BlogTalkRadio! There is a development going up across the road! The peaceful farm with its tranquil view has since been replaced by tractors, backhoes, Bobcats and rising mini mansions. My home office faces the destruction and even with the windows closed the noise pollution is distraction. Thank you BlogTalkRadio for giving me intelligent discussions to listen to (Nikki Starr, I’m talking to you, hon!) and keeping me from losing my sanity.

I’m not exaggerating when I tell you we have some awesome programming today. I’m sure you’ll agree too! Check it out:

  • Kirk Cameron, that’s right Mike Seaver from the 80′s series Growing Pains, is all grown up and doing the family values things in a big way. (As you know, I’m all about finding good role models so that’s not a bad thing.) Kirk is visiting with Tamara Walker, the MomRN, to discuss his new film “Fireproof”. Tune in today at noon.
  • Comedienne Margaret Cho is visiting with Rico and Paulie on Fruit Salad tonight at 10:30 p.m.
