What's Going On? June 24, 2008

Sheryl Lee Ralph

There’s lots of good stuff going on today at BlogTalkRadio. Being the new girl, I’m always impressed at the talent our hosts and the people behind the scenes at BTR line up for our different shows. I think you’ll also agree when you see today’s lineup. My only issue is choosing what to write about, I really wish I could cover it all. There’s a lot going on, so I’ll just get on with it:

Sheryl Lee Ralph, the original Dreamgirl, is a guest on Just *b* Radio to talk about a very worthy cause, AIDS. She’ll be joined by Phil Wilson from the Black AIDS Institute and Gil Robinson, author of Not in My Family. The panel will discuss National Testing Day this evening at 7:00 p.m. EST. Do tune in, call in or chat.

We also have the BET Awards pre show today on The Rock Prince and Mibes Live where our host will be discussing the BET awards including nominees and performances. Listen in live at 6:00 p.m. EST or check back later for the archived version.

Media Lizzie is Heading Right today with her guest Rachel Marsden, CEO & Editor-in-Chief of Grand Central Political this afternoon at 3:00 EST.

Anita59 welcomes my friend and one of my favorite bloggers, Wendy Piersall of Sparkplugging CEO to talk about starting a home based business. Listen in today at 11:00 a.m.

Chris Lemmon remembers his dad, Jack Lemmon, and discusses his new book A Twist of Lemmon, a biography about his famous father on Movie Addict today at 4:00 p,m. EST.

Canadian songstress Serena Ryder, and 16 year old Drillbit Taylor star Nate Hartley are visiting with BTR Today’s Shaun OMac today at 2:00 p.m.

Missus Smarty Pants discusses the famous “Obama Dress.” What is it and why is everyone talking about it? Today at 2:00 PM ET.

Don’t forget, all of our shows are archived about fifteen minutes after they finish. So there’s no such thing as “missing” a segment. You can always tune back in. Listen while you work!
