What's Going On – July 9, 2008

Yesterday during a Skype chat, BlogTalkRadio CEO Alan Levy asked me what I think of BTR’s content. When I told him it was impressive, I wasn’t just pandering to my boss. You see, I first learned about BTR last November at BlogWorld Expo. I tuned in now and then to hear a favorite blogger’s occasional program, but that was it.

In the short time between BWE and my being hired as Community Manager, the network has grown by leaps and bounds. Impressive doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel about the content here. Whether you’re into sports, politics, books, blogging, food or pets, there’s something for you. Believe me when I tell you all bases are covered. And if they’re not, why not start a segment of your own?

Here are some of today’s higlights:

Today on Wiltshire & Washington, guests Fred Graver of RemixAmerica.org and Huffington Post blogger and MSNBC commentator James Boyce join to discuss the Netroots Nation conference and its impact on the upcoming political conventions. Anyone not able to listen in to the live 10:30 am ET broadcast can catch it immediately after on demand.

Tonight on Talk Entertainment, Big Brother 10′s Amanda Hansen is in the house to dish about her castmates. 10:00 p.m. EST.

Boston Red Sox Legend Fred Lynn will join The Fantasy Baseball Gurus to talk about the MLB season so far, and what to expect for the rest of the season. Tonight at 9:00 EST.

Soap fans won’t want to miss Mark Lawson, One Life to Live‘s Brody, on Stardish Radio this evening at 9:00 p.m. EST.

Enjoy today’s programming and don’t be afraid to drop a comment to tell us about your favorite BlogTalkRadio shows!
