Presidential Candidate, Newt Gingrich on BlogTalkRadio

In May, Newt Gingrich announced that he would seek the Republican nomination for President in 2012.  We are now in December and he is currently leading in a number of national polls including CNN/ORC InternationalUSA Today and Gallup and Iowa GOP presidential poll ahead of his competitors, Romney, Cain, Perry and Paul.

After the 1994 mid-term elections, Newt Gingrich became the first Republican Speaker of the House in 40 years. During his term as Speaker, Newt was known for his opposition to many of Clinton’s policies. He resigned from Congress in 1999 and has authored several books.  Since resigning, Gingrich has stayed involved in politics as a political commentator and consultant.

Newt stopped by BlogTalkRadio last week to discuss his progress on the campaign trail and his thoughts on Obama.  You can listen to his interview on Sarah Palin Radio here.

Newt Gingrich: Not Sure (Just Yet) If He’ll Seek the Oval Office

Will Newt Gingrich have a go at Barack Obama‘s job?

That seems to be the question on a many a GOP mind these days—and a fear lurking in the not-so-distant-future for the Dems.

Interviewed on African American Conservatives, the former House Speaker addresses persistent chatter that he’ll toss his hat into the ring in the 2012 presidential race.

"That gives me a headache even thinking about it," Newt (above) tells us of imagining a Democratic strategy for winning in November.
