Presidential Candidate, Newt Gingrich on BlogTalkRadio

In May, Newt Gingrich announced that he would seek the Republican nomination for President in 2012.  We are now in December and he is currently leading in a number of national polls including CNN/ORC InternationalUSA Today and Gallup and Iowa GOP presidential poll ahead of his competitors, Romney, Cain, Perry and Paul.

After the 1994 mid-term elections, Newt Gingrich became the first Republican Speaker of the House in 40 years. During his term as Speaker, Newt was known for his opposition to many of Clinton’s policies. He resigned from Congress in 1999 and has authored several books.  Since resigning, Gingrich has stayed involved in politics as a political commentator and consultant.

Newt stopped by BlogTalkRadio last week to discuss his progress on the campaign trail and his thoughts on Obama.  You can listen to his interview on Sarah Palin Radio here.

Obama Campaign uses BlogTalkRadio to respond to caucus results

obama.jpgAs we witnessed not long ago, Iowa was a big win for Barack Obama, and his loyal volunteers were using BlogTalkRadio to comment and celebrate.

The Obama Campaign volunteers from California have taken communications with voters to a new level with their BlogTalkRadio show.

One of their many new media initiatives, the show has aired during the unveiling of caucus results to give real time reactions. In addition, voters can call in with questions and concerns. Never before has the election process been so interactive.

Check in with the Obama California 2008 host channel for up-to-date word from the campaign.
