Denise Austin Makes Fitness Fun

Denise Austin

Denise Austin

I’ve been working out with Denise Austin for over a decade. I appreciate how her morning exercise programs don’t require acrobatics or contortions and she speaks to her audience in terms we can relate too. Yeah, I’m a fan.

That’s why I’ll be listening in today at noon EST when Denise visits with Woman’s Day Health Director Amy Brightfield on the Healthy You show.  I look forward to hearing my fitness idol offer tips and suggestions that we can all incorporate into our current workouts. Denise will also be offering advice on making fitness fun and how to start new exercise routines.

If you’re looking to start a new healthier lifestyle, or just learn some more tips for getting the most out of your workout, you won’t want to miss Denise Austin today  – and don’t forget – if you miss Denise live, listen in at your convenience. The segment is available on demand immediately following the broadcast.

What's Going On? September 23, 2009

Happy Tuesday. I just want to say what a pleasure it was to have met some of our BlogTalkRadio hosts at BlogWorld Expo this past weekend. Placing faces to voices and getting your feedback made my weekend.

Here are today’s highlights (all times EDT)

Check out my new favorite show! Our hosts ‘Bruce’ and ‘Jimmy’ are Danish schoolboys in the 5th grade. Each Tuesday they give their views on what’s hot (and what’s not) in English.

Radio Woman’s Day features Food Talk with Jackie Plant. Learn how to make Risotto and also which apples are best to use for certain dishes. If you like hanging out in the kitchen as much as me, you’ll listen in at noon.

Today on FWJ Radio, my co host Jodee Redmond and I welcome Peter Bowerman, author of “The Well Fed Writer”.  We’ll discuss rates for freelance writers and how not to sell yourself short when setting rates. That’s this morning at 11:00 a.m.

Having a bad hair day? Trichologist Lisa Akbari and hair consultant Chloe discuss your questions about your hair and scalp problems or care needs on Ask the Hair Doctor this afternoon at 2:30.

Twitter was a big topic of conversation at BlogWorld last weekend. This afternoon Connie Bennet talks with the gurus to get the scoop on this social networking phenonenon.

On the Radio Happy Hour this evening, Dr. Blogstein welcomes Shaun Amos, son of cookie kind Famou Amos and Max Gross author of “From Schlub to Stud.” Don’t miss it tonight at 9:00.

Feel free to visit our On Air Schedule for the full rundown of today’s programs. All of our segments are available on demand immediately after the live broadcast, so there’s no such thing as “missing” a show!

Have a great day!
