BlogTalkRadio welcomes a new show that has sprung out of the very popular virtual world SecondLife called Club Aloha’s Radio. The show is named after a place in SecondLife called Club Aloha, a location where our digital selves can live and hang out.
SecondLife is one of the front runners of this trend in social networking, leisure, and gaming. The user is completely immersed in the virtual world of SecondLife, and can earn money, buy real estate, wear different clothes, and interact with other users once inside. As you can guess, this is very time consuming!
Club Aloha’s Radio welcomes Simon Stevens, who has Cerebral Palsy, and owns a very successful business in the real world. But Simon is also very active and successful in SecondLife. This virtual world enables him to be anything he wants to be, and inside it there are no limits imposed by his disability.
Simon is slated to be on the cover of Newsweek next week, and hopes to soon be interviewed by CNN as well. Simon has been interviewed by BBC, a video that is available on YouTube under his SecondLife avatar name, Simon Walsh.
Listen to Club Aloha’s Radio at 6pm EST for an inspiring talk with Simon.
And check out Club Alohas.
