And the hits just keep on coming—for BlogTalkRadio’s fabulous hosts, that is.
Our latest talkmeister to hit the media is Sandra Denice Newton, who six months ago launched After Thoughts with S. Denice Newton to “foster change in a changing world.”
That, by encouraging “minority youth to seek higher education as a deterrent and/or counter to the drug and gang culture plaguing the black community.”
This week, The Wilson Daily Times in Sandra’s hometown of Wilson, N.C., profiles the fledgling radio personality.
“If what you hear on the radio dial is boring, blog radio might just pique your interest. With blog radio, all a host needs is a computer and a phone,” writes the the paper’s Janet Conner-Knox.
“Any person who believes they are up to the challenge in hosting a show cango to Blogtalkradio.com, and then sign up and begin broadcasting.
“Now there is a blog radio show coming from right here in Wilson. AfterThoughts with S. Denice Newton airs every night from 6 until 9 p.m.
“During the day, Newton is a mild-mannered counselor at Vick Elementary School. But in the evenings she becomes an international talk show host.”
