Post-launch maintenance

This has been a very exciting week for BlogTalkRadio and its hosts. We have received a great deal of positive feedback on the new web site and very useful feedback on the changes therein. We appreciate your comments and encourage you to continue to provide them. Please send any you have to service@blogtalkradio.com.

With all of the new features, we’ve been working hard to optimize streams, iron out functions and communicate back to the growing community of wonderful hosts. In that process, particularly this morning, we encountered a few registration and platform hiccups. I want to thank you for your patience as we address these as promptly as we can, and let you know the┬áthree issues we’re aware of:

1) There appears to be an issue with account registrations and password recoveries. We are aware of the problem and working to fix it as soon as possible.

2) The show media player has been periodically unavailable. This issue seems to be resolved for most platforms now, we are addressing one it seems (Firefox on machines running Vista).

3) We had to reboot the database server during our set up of automatic backups and there was some data loss we are presently working to recover.
