What’s Going On at BlogTalkRadio for the Holidays?

Tired of listening to the same tired radio Christmas carols over and over? Seen A Christmas Story for the jillionth time?

Why not try something different this year? BlogTalkRadio has plenty of great holiday programming to choose from. Some is coming up and others are ghosts of holiday’s past. Whether it’s new or a gem from the BlogTalkRadio vault, we hope you enjoy our holiday programming.

Here’s a rundown:

  • Put a few logs on the fire and pour something to warm your tummy. Now gather your family around the laptop as Authors on the Air brings you an hour-long dramatization of A Christmas Carol.  Though the recording begins at 4:00 (EST), it will be available to you until December 29th, so you can listen as many times as you like!
  • Last week, Dr. B offered A Very Merry Blogstein. Listen in as our host talks to the owner of the “Christmas Story House and Museum.” Maybe you’ll even learn how to buy your very own leg lamp! Dr. B is also spoke with “History of the Snowman” author Bob Eckstein.
  • Today on Faustas Blog our host tells us about her Christmases in Puerto Rico.
  • Are you in the mood for a little holiday music? Join us for a two hour Christmas Concert from Brea College. Music of the season will be performed by the college’s Black Music Ensemble, Bluegrass Music Ensemble, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Chamber Winds, College Community Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Wind Ensemble, and Women’s Chorus. The fun starts at 1:00 (EST) but you if you miss the original broadcast, you can listen to the podcast on demand.
  • On another note, ShawnXMonkey is duscussing our bad Christmas stories. Maybe I’ll call in and talk about the time Santa left me coal or my husband gave me a paper shredder.
  • BlockheadRod is offering “A Blockhead Christmas Story” as well as some great Indy holiday music.
  • Kitty Vixen is getting into the spirit tonight at 9:00 with some of your favorite holiday music.
  • Talk Impact Radio will spend this evening tracking Santa and discussing the holiday – tonight at 10:00.
  • Want to look thin for the holidays? Missus Smarty Pants gives us some tricks for looking our best this afternoon at 2:00.
  • Everyday Style also offered some great tips for putting together holiday outfits.

My best wishes to you for the holidays!
