Patricia Richardson: Tim Allen Gets Dissed by Tinseltown (Unlike Jerry Seinfeld)

Though Patricia Richardson has never been married to Tim Allen in real life, she’s standing by her man just the same.

Interviewed on Buzzworthy Radio, the actress who played Tim’s wife, Jill Taylor, on the ABC sitcom Home Improvement holds little back in her defense of the funnyman.

CAPTION: "They don't give him enough credit for what a good actor he is," Patricia (above) tells us of the Hollywood establishment.

“He’s always underrated as an actor. He was so really just reactive and real emotional and really there,” Patricia tells host NaVell Lee.

“I always kind of feel Hollywood disses him… When he first started, it was really new for him and he was a little bit scared about it. He would just start to cry. We’d be doing a scene that was real serious and he wouldn’t know-he’d be surprised himself.”

“We’d be rehearsing and he would stop the scene because he had this emotional reaction and he’d turn to Continue reading

‘The Bachelor’ Host Chris Harrison: No Fan of VH1’s ‘Blatant Ripoff,’ ‘Flavor of Love’

There’s scant love lost between The Bachelor host Chris Harrison and those producers who abandoned his hit reality series – only to create Flavor of Love at a competing network.

Interviewed on Buzzworthy Radio, Chris says the defections of certain staffers from ABC’s Bachelor, which debuted in 2002, over to VH1’s original Love show, which bowed in 2006, was the source of significant strife.

CAPTION: "There were so many rip-offs that the whole genre was watered down," Chris (above) tells us of VH1 and other net's foray into "Bachelor" territory.

“VH1 has sort of copied [The Bachelor] format with Flavor of Love, Rock of Love, all the Loves,” says host Matthew Preston. “What do you think of all the other kind of copy shows out there?” Continue reading

Dean Martin’s Diva Daughter: Elvis Called My Dad ‘The King of Cool’

You know you’re a lucky kid when Elvis Presley thinks your father is the greatest thing since sliced focaccia.

And that’s precisely what Dean Martin‘s daughter Deana Martin came to realize one day during the swinging ’60s, as she recounts this week on Buzzworthy Radio.

CAPTION: "Elvis adored Dean Martin," Deana (above, as a teen, with Dino) tells us.

“Elvis was doing a movie at Paramount, and so was my dad. I went to visit dad at the studio and we were standing outside [dad’s] dressing room. And in those days, you rode around the studio on bicycles,” Deana – who like her legendary father, is a big-band crooner – tells host host NaVell Lee.

“And Elvis Presley comes riding Continue reading

Keshia Knight Pulliam: Jonesing to Play Janet

As if watching the littest Cosby kid portray a streetwalker on the big screen isn’t ironic enough, next we may have to bear her popping her top at the Super Bowl.

This week on Buzzworthy Radio, Keshia Knight Pulliam – who played Rudy on The Cosby Show – says she’s setting her sights on a particular biopic.

Keshia (left): Close enough for jazzy Janet?

“My dream role is to play Janet Jackson, if she ever does her life story while I’m still alive – and I’m young enough to play her,” Keshia, 29, tells host NaVell Lee.

Janet, of course, made healines in 2004 when Justin Timberlake “accidentally” ripped her bustier off during their halftime show at the  Super Bowl.

And though it hasn’t quite come to that yet, Keshia is currently starring in Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes to Jail – as a hooker and former drug addict.

Keshia also has her eye on an Angelina Jolie-type role, telling NaVell:

“I really, really wanna do some sort action movie. You don’t really see a lot of African-American women – or just women in general – who will play those fighting roles.”
