Vinny ‘Big Pussy’ Pastore: No ‘Sopranos’ Movie — ‘It’s Time to Move On’

So much for those rumors of a big-screen version of The Sopranos—at least according to Vinny Pastore.

Interviewed on Dinner Specials, the actor who played Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero on the hit HBO series chats about bringing the surviving cast members back.

When hosts May Pang and Cynthia Neilson ask, “Any chance there’s gonna be a Sopranos movie?” Vinnie says:

“I don’t think so. Michael [Imperioli, who played Christopher Moltisanti] and I were talkin’ about that today. I think it’s over and it’s time to move on.

“I mean, they always wanted The Beatles to get back together, right? You move on. You do other things.

“I just did a pilot last week down in the city, with Cha-Cha [John Ciarcia, who played Albie Cianflone on The Sopranos], called Holy Meatballs!. It had Judy Gold in it. And Pat Cooper and Jackie Martling. Continue reading
