Mariel Hemingway may not have a man in her life at the moment, but that doesn’t stop her from enjoying romantic dinners.
Interviewed on The Elizabeth Grant Show, the purebred stunner, who recently divorced hubby of 24 years Stephen Crisman, reveals her formula for a satisfying repas à une.
“I’d like to see people get back to sitting down at a table; creating sacred space at their table; really creating a beautiful spot to eat,” Mariel, 47, tells host Elizabeth Grant.
“Now, I’m single, and I create a table for myself, with a candle and a place-setting, whatever, every single day for every single meal that I eat at home alone,” continues the Manhattan actress, whose new cookbook is titled Mariel’s Kitchen: Simple Ingredients for a Delicious and Satisfying Life.
“It is so nurturing. And I don’t feel lonely, I don’t feel sad.
“There have on occasion been times when I have had my computer and I have been Tweeting – but I try to refrain from doing that.”
