In 1987, well before he signed a deal to develop a show about nothing, Jerry Seinfeld had nothing but the highest of standards in mind for such a sitcom. “I have no desire to be part of most of the crap you see on TV, just so I could say, ‘Hey, I got a TV show!’” he told host Robin Milling of Milling About.

The Movie Geeks sit down with Thomas Jane, who appeared in the 1997 hit flick Boogie Nights, and currently stars in the HBO comedy series Hung. Thomas will fill us in on the 3D Film Festival, which gets under way tomorrow in L.A.—and which he’s hosting.

Comedy Concepts’ Nancy Lombardo welcomes Linda Hope, V.P. of Hope Enterprises—and daughter of British-born Bob Hope (above)—who, on Oct. 12, will dedicate the newly refurbished Bob Hope Memorial Library at the Immigration Museum on New York’s Ellis Island.

NDB Media host Roger Noriega hangs with Christopher Shyer, who has appeared on such hit series as CSI: Miami, The L Word and Without a Trace, and currently stars as Marcus on V. The actor will tell us what’s up next for his screen projects.

OutTakes’ Laurie Baker goes one-on-one with Tina Sloan, who played Lillian Raines on Guiding Light, while appearing in such flicks as Changing Lanes. Tina, who now co-stars with Crystal Chappell and Jessica Leccia in Venice The Series, will chat about her new book, Changing Shoes.

The Final Word’s JayReelz and J.D. mix it up with NHL bad boy Paul Stastny, who’s alternate captain of the Colorado Avalanche, and whose dad is Hockey Hall of Famer Peter Stastny—and who played for Avalanche’s predecessor, the Quebec Nordiques.
